I actually playing HD2 again after I stopped 4 months ago. It was a fun and challenging game then the constant nerfing came.. it felt frustrating so i just stopped.. now with all the recent buffs, feels like day 1 HD2 again..
Its funny to see how they buff all the weapons and almost every youtuber is testing RailGun only!!!! That says a lot about that weapon, I just cant wait anymore to get home and try it as wellllllllll hahahah
The Railgun now is what it supposed to be like from the very beginning - a very unique tool, universal but very skill dependant. Not for everyone(not for me specially) but definetly it will find its auditory. Nice work with this balance patch, Arrowhead, i was at first aware that we will see a new "must have a railgun" meta, which i personally dont like at all.
In your testing, keep in mind testing while being stationary or moving backwards vs moving forward in case that forward momentum makes it take 1 less shot
5:12 no he wasn't damaged. You just managed to fully charge railgun and crit hit titan. Another second, and it would blow up in you're hands. As they said (high risk high reward).
Railgun is better for bots, and even there its not that great. Use spear or recoilless rifle. These oneshot chargers, titans, impalers, tanks and hulks from any angle. Quasar and EAT oneshot on head and all of them oneshot fabricators from any angle like commando used to do. Now you need 2 commando rockets

you can actually two shot the Bile titan if you charge it before it explodes.

I believe they fixed that by making dmg round up rather than rounding down

The auto cannon mech is god tier now

While testing I killed a charger with 1 shot in safe mode and 1 shot in unsafe mode info the butt, not sure if it is 1shot with 1 unsafe mode shot

The scope magnification is the same for me for 50m, 100m, and 200m. They don't zoom in for me.

I take the 3 shots to bile titan. However, I kind of want it to 2 shots.

They will have to nerf the Railgun eventually, unless they're ok the Quasar and Rocket Launchers (minus the Spear) becoming obsolete.
How would it be obsolete? They're more powerful than the rail gun
