Thank you for uploading this video. I note that when you needle there is no palpation and it seems you know exactly where to needle. Is this something that comes with practice and experience? I am a new practitioner.
Hey there! As you know as a practitioner we love these points for their effectiveness and we needle them quite a lot. So you get to know where to place needles. But for other points on the body parts with more musculature, such as upper back, arms or legs, I still palpate along the channels because the body surface is relatively larger and dynamic, and we should look for more specific point for needle insertion. Hope this clarifies! :)
qestion:why you wipe the blood straight away? i thought blood has got healing and antiseptic qualities?i always let the blood stay a few seconds before wiping away.

If the purpose of the treatment was to let blood out, I would have left it! Otherwise, insertion site can be covered with a cotton ball :)
