The knot is not a square knot, which is "left over right and under, right over left and under" and is also known as a reef knot, as any scout will tell you. It is a "Crown knot" , which is used in rope work, to braid the unraveled end back into its self.
Hey, love the you but I’m curious if you would know how to make a fleece braided leash ? Or know a way I could add the hardware by braiding in to make sure it stays inside the braid tight
