I like how the music style shows that while liltommyj was new to the games with the music being just like the source material this guy is more experienced so the music in this remix is more up-beat and as he fights the creepers instead of running away from them. just a little I noticed :)

I've had this song in my music playlist for about 6 months now, and it's on a league of its own. Whenever it comes on, its %100 the only song that's gonna be playing for the rest of the day. something i love to do if the version being played isn’t immediately obvious is minecraft screenshot/video “archaeology” where i try to pinpoint the version as accurately as possible based off of the information available, and this was a really fun one. my guess is 1.4-1.6. - newer food sprites suggest 1.4 or later - leather armour texture on the zombie suggests 1.4 or later - potato suggests 1.4 or later - old combat suggests 1.9 or earlier - roses suggest 1.6 or earlier there was probably a crap ton more clues that i missed but it’s fun picking that stuff out
You're pretty on the mark. There's a couple frames at the beginning which show the version, which is 1.5.2. I picked this version because it's the last version before the horse update and horses felt "too new" to me for some reason, despite being added in 2013.
