I watch a lot of videos. This is a great one. No music, no ridiculous commentary. Just the sound of the wind and the engine. Well done. Question….. for that type of trail…. Which is probably similar to what most of us ride a lot… how is the KYB suspension?? Too stiff? Just right? Overkill? I’d like to hear your thoughts.

I agree - I prefer videos where I can hear the bike, especially when it's a 2-stroke! 🙂 The other thing is that I hate hearing my voice, so I usually don't say much unless I need to. So far I'm loving the KYB suspension, and I haven't even touched the settings yet. I wanted to get a baseline feel before making any adjustments. For this type of trail riding I think it works great, but probably too stiff for slower, hard enduro type riding. Please note that I am used to riding a KDX 200 with stock forks and a KDX 220 that I converted to '97 KX forks, so my Beta 300 is significantly better. I will be racing it this year in the CORCS series (super old man C class) so I will be tweaking the settings as I get used to the bike.
