Man, that was close! Those kids had barely 5 minutes to get to safety before that tornado slammed into their school. Yikes. I'm fascinated with severe weather, but the idea of witnessing something like this freaks me out. I honestly don't mind that this is an ad when it's this well done- and the footage that incredible.
It's scary to imagine running off that bus while a massive tornado is barreling in your direction It's almost like something out of a disaster movie...
i was in second grade about a few cities away when this happened. my father helped during the aftermath and i got to see the wreckage in person. it was quite something to look at.
My friend Jolie was a teacher and was in the building when it was destroyed. She shared some pictures later and her car was destroyed, but her bottle of water was still in the cupholder where she had left it that morning. Her classroom was almost destroyed, but her stuffed Blue (the Indianapolis Colts mascot) was on her desk and survived.
@@Jack_Bag That might be, but thanks be to God that you're still here today to tell the tale. Not too many people from that area can say the same. I'm not from there, but I've read some of the reports of that storm and the damage it did, so I can imagine what you've been through. I was near Joplin on May 22nd, 2011 when the EF5 tornado hit and that was absolute chaos.
I remember my aunt was a few blocks down from the school and after the tornado hit 1 day later i came from Clarksville to help clean up the mess and god was it just sad to see what a tornado can do to peoples homes.
This was an extraordinary disaster, and yes buildings were destroyed, but thank the Lord the staff was knowledgeable and very protective of their students and nobody lost their lives, faculty or students. If my children had been in this school during this disaster I would personally shake the hands of every single member of the staff at this school. Thank God people like this still exist because they did whatever they had to do to protect their students, even if it meant risking their own lives in the process.
Wow take a disastrous event and turn it into an advertisement? SMH Pretty sure some of the people in that building were traumatized. Instead of cameras, maybe they should be concerned about how brutally constructed that building was!
That was one hell of an ad for Axis security cams.

Jackson Watto I was in the school when it hit...a sight a 2nd grader should never experience...hard to believe it's almost been 5 years
It wouldn’t of been scary to me!
For a second grader?
I at the time was a weather lover and even I would've been scared out of my mind

Whoa, toon in for a tornado and walked away with a new security system.......well played axis.
Don't put kids in a gym if there's a tornado. That's a lesson learned from that for sure.
The gym video was actually from the Joplin, MO tornado. Not sure why it was included in this montage.

Those speakers hanging from the gym ceiling I don’t know if they’re hurt too but man they hung on pretty good
Looks like many of them lost their eyebrows too.

More of product placement ad than footage of a tornado 🌪.... more storm , less yapping
Axis really went all out with this one didn't even notice it was an ad until like halfway through. Where's Jimmy when u need him?

How isn't it funny? The camera was black and white until the exact second the tornado hit.
gadan it was probably on night vision mode.
A crummy commercial!
