Went off to fight in the sands of the Middle East, trading the opioid epidemic of the late '90s and 2000s at home for the battlefields abroad. After years in the service, thinking I was fighting for freedom, for peace, for something greater. Came back to find our cities in a different kind of turmoil. The crisis I left behind had morphed, claiming friends, neighbors, the soul of communities. Here I stand, a veteran in my homeland, looking for the America I thought I knew, only to find a void where my generation's promise should be. Where are the builders, the makers, the tradesmen? The spirit of progress? What was all that fighting for if back home we let our own battles tear us apart? This isn't the homecoming I imagined. It's a wake-up call. We need to rebuild, not just structures but lives, communities, a nation's spirit. Here's to those we lost, to those still fighting their battles at home. Let's make our next mission about healing and building, together. Put America First before its too late for kids.

Good Demo, it’s a song idea, it needs to be taken up a few more levels. That chorus with the vocal harmony needs to hit bigger and harder. Wall of distortion
Brought me to tears. The drums hitting at the end drove the song home in such a bone chilling way. I was saying just seconds before they hit "come on, hit this ending hard with percussion and twist the knife! Kill it!"
Good voice for sure but anyones voicewould sound pretty good with that level of autotune. Not trying to critisize, i know he has a lot of talent. Just saying the auto tune is on overdrive.

I’ve been listening to Tim’s podcast for years, but never heard any of his music until now. I’m honestly surprised at his vocals, much better than I expected 👍🏼
Absolutely amazing folks. It was so incredibly well done 👏.
I love Timcast and all that, but I kind of want an All That Remains metal cover of the whole song
I agree. Tim is pretty good but this song needs that hard metal all the way thro.
That would be awesome really!
If your aim is to create culture, then you are well on your way. Keep going, we need the likes of "yall".
Such a handsome man with so many God given talents! Ur a blessed man Tim, definitely buying this one!
I agree Tim is adorable 😍
gotta love some music dropping randomly in my lap. great lyrics man.
Way to go Tim, didn't know you sang😅
This video is fucking fire my guys. Great tune as well. Left me with a Queensrÿche vibe for some reason. Great work, everyone.
Don't do Geoff Tate like that. 🤪
😂@@EnervatedSociety
Hear hear!
Great production.
Not wrong. There was a hint of QR in there. Nice spotting.
Needs a beat in the early part of the song, empty with no drum until the hard part.
My favorite you have done so far!
Great song guys, amazing sound and lyrics.
Phil’s vocals are great for this song
What heart hitting song.
I'm a two war veteran who was medivac'd out of Iraq in 2005. Almost 20yrs later the memories don't fade. Like they're burned into the back of my skull. This is the first song that captures the pain and confusion I've felt all this time. Im not certain if the song was supposed to hit like that but it sure did and i can't thank you enough.

Damn you beat me, but at least we are playing the same game.
Yes
Seconded?

2010's artstyle I fucking love it man
Ok, I was NOT expecting this. Bravo. Great song.
I apparently had good timing. Well done and solid messaging.
As an All That Remains fan and political junkie, this pleases me.
This is so 90s, and I love it.
AWESOME. POWERFUL. MADE ME CRY. OUR COUNTRY SHOULD NOT BE IN SUCH A MESS. IT IS HARD TO FATHOM AS TO THE FEELINGS OF SOLDIERS COMING HOME AFTER BEING DEPLOYED FOR SEVERAL YRS AND TO FIGHT FOR WHAT? EVERYTHING THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR IS BEING TAKEN AWAY. CITIES AND TOWNS CRUMBLING AND CRIME AND HOMELESSNESS UPON IS ALL. THE POWERS THAT BE HAD BETTER BE CAREFUL PEOPLE HAVE HAD JUST ENOUGH OF ALL THIS NONSCENSE THANK YOU TIM AND CREW, ETC. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. LOVE THE SONG.
The country is a mess because good people sit idly by while evil people do what they want. Electing any president will not change that. Real change only comes from the people demanding it. Which is why the left usually always wins because they are out there demanding it
Boooo
Love it. But bring in Phil and Pete...HARD at 3:50 and it's perfect. Keep it up 👍!
Agreed!
Agreed dude
Tim Pool=Man of the year 2024!!!!! Awesome job boys
Keep doing this. Keep writing and recording. Stuff just keeps getting better. Smoke some cigs and drink some whiskey. Find your distortion.
I give it an 8 because I can dance to it, slowly. With my cat.
Kill it!"
🎶 🤘🎵🥁🎤🎸❗️‼️
Well done gents!
Can’t wait to have my Timcast physical cd!
Great jam. Another fire song
Tim pools voice is surprisingly good. Wow. Love this song!!
Good voice for sure but anyones voicewould sound pretty good with that level of autotune. Not trying to critisize, i know he has a lot of talent. Just saying the auto tune is on overdrive.
Right through my heart, which still bleeds red white and blue and always will.
Tim is the secular version of Christian Rock
Post-Christian Rock, if you will
Great song! Bought it already.
Tim, Phil, Pete and Carter! Great job on this one. You've really outdone yourselves.
I'm Thanos and I approve this message
Hahahaha!
😂😂😂Brilliant!
This was actually really good. Nice emotional base to the song. Tim can sign. Cool. Especially in the vocal range used in the verses. The only thing Id change is maybe let Phil do all the choruses. If I had heard this and it hadn't been Tim pool, "I would have been like wow this kicks ass",and then looked up who it was. Good one.
Hurry up and come back to the show Phil everybody misses their favorite radical anti-communist

Amen!
Hey, Phil is doing important shit on the road opening for Mudvayne/Megadeth. Just high fived him a couple weeks ago after crowdsurfing during 2 Weeks.
fight Fight FIGHT!!✊🏽🇺🇸
Yes! Phil is finally on the mic too! 💪
Tim, as a musician... You make a good podcast.
I think this is your best song to date. Also your best video. Please keep it up. I am old but would love to go locally to see you.
Yes!
Wait, the group is also called Timcast?! Is that cos Beanieman was taken?
Could've been tim and the pool boys
Counter Culture would've been a really good name.
Ripper track! I have already bought it, in support of Tim! Great work!
The final third of the song was extremely powerful with the imagery and harmonization of the vocals.
Great song yall 🤘
Beautiful. Combat Infantry Vet, 03-04, Baghdad, Iraq. You got to me with this one. It's so good. This is music. Thank you.
The "singing" kills it for me. I couldn't even finish the song.
BOOM 💥 YA!!!!❤❤❤❤😊
Ok. This is great
