actually, I appreciated how you approached this review... it was refreshing and you highlighted aspects of the vehicle that I had not seen in other reviews, like the removable "crumb" trays where it makes cleaning easier. Some may not appreciate those kind of details, but I do! At 300+ horsepower, I would have liked more focus on your perceptions of the raw power of the vehicle but overall a great review!!!
Thanks tgo92507! We really do appreciate the feedback. While car review videos are not a new thing, the way we are approaching reviews in our First Gear Series is new to RUclips. We are really trying to focus on the everyday features that you would use on a daily basis. As for focusing on horsepower in this series, the most we will probably get into that would be the acceleration on the test drive. If you are craving videos with more specs, check out other series titled "Ride Along" Thanks for watching!
You forgot one thing about that driver side mirror, and that is that it is an auto-dimming mirror, so at night, it electronically shades it so the lights from vehicles behind you will not glare.
Great review, I like the approach a lot and think it complements other reviews that focus more on specs and such. One thing I want to point out, at one point you comment that it still has power despite being eco-boost. Eco-boost is a line of Ford engines that are direct-injected and turbo-charged, so it’s not a designation that means ‘eco friendly’, it means the engine is more powerful and actually have worse fuel economy (because of turbo). That said, I enjoyed the review. Keep it up.
Nice car, reminds me a lot of the 97 Taurus GL. Body shape, interior panels, wheel designs ect. That car definitely was used to design this styled Fusion for sure
I like that you look in every compartment and and you pay attention to detail. You should people everything. Great video! Awesome attention to detail! :)
you state in your excellent review that you are 6'-3". . .I'm exactly your size. . .please advise on the roominess IOW describe how you fit inside. . .I'm thinking very seriously about purchasing this.
Well I would like to know the TOP SPEED of the vehicle! and yes I couldn't use it like that everyday, but I live by roads that occasionally a person could! so what is it?, btw, a 2017 sport in Minn. had W rated tires on it. so there is know reason it shouldn't go at least 150 mph.....
Thanks for watching, Noah! It's an original composition by our videographer, made with one of those loop programs. While he gave it a generic file name of "90s Pulse Beat," I like to consider it named, "First Gear Theme."
Thanks for watching, ADAM! You are right, our host is admittedly not a car expert, as explained at the beginning of the video. The point of this First Gear series is to have a car review and test drive conducted by a "regular person off the street" to get a fresh perspective of these vehicles.
He's a typical soyboy more impressed with gadgets and stupid shit, and could care less about the performance of the engine and it's handling. He'd probably be happier buying a cheaper 4 cylinder, as long s it has a bunch of hookups for his damn phone and the right size cupholder for his latte.
Is this the first car you have seen since the 90's? He's getting a bit excited about things that have been around for quite some time. This is terrible.
Thank you for the feedback, etaf tm. The concept behind these videos is to explore the vehicle, push buttons, open hidden compartments. These are more designed for someone who really wants to get into the vehicle and see every detail. If you are more of a car guy, you may prefer our other video series, Ride Along. In those videos, you take an actual test drive with a profession salesperson. Check it out and let us know. We're trying to develop new content and would really like to hear what you think. ruclips.net/video/52C7ndQBqsc/видео.html Thanks again!
The interior looks pretty bland. Ford has no interest in interior design after you look at the interior of cars from the German prestige brands. And in the boot there's no full sized spare tire to match the alloy wheels fitted on the car. Fords such a cheap skate.

More of an advertisement than a review.

Thank you for your feedback Chris! We are really excited about this series of videos and how they are developing.
Those "camera's or sensors" in the door are lights telling you when the doors are locked.
Beautiful car! Midsize monster! Love it.

"even with the ecoboost.. this thing still has some power" ummmmm.. O.K? So, Even with a Turbo.. this thing has some power lol
Even with EcoBoost!?? Yea lol. It's not called "EcoBeast" for no reason! These motors get good MPGs an develop insane power w/outstanding durability.
What's the name of the song?

Great review. That's how everyone is when they get in a new car.
Sorry but i hate the new front and rear , i prefer my 2014 grill and bumper looks more aggressive but i wish i had that twin turbo v6
