Yes, i am very happy with the bike. For me its still the best bike on the market today. Offroad with it was only an experiment, never did it again after that, not because its to bad, but i still have other real offroad bikes for this stuff of riding. I wish you a lot of fun with yours!!!
I am seriously considering buying one of these bikes. But I realy need a duel sport like the BMW you see guys riding on long road trips, like the 1200R or the F800. I would much rather have one of these FJ 09 with duel use tires. I am guessing that the gearing is trouble for this kind of riding?

I used Continental TKC 70. Front wheel 120/70 R17, back wheel 180/55 R17. A very good tire for gravel roads, but the limits of the TKC 70 are wett conditions offroad. In wett conditions the Contitental TKC 80 is much butter, but have his problems with the engine power of the triple MT-09 engine. For me the TKC 70 is the perfekt tire for touring with a little bit of offroad. I recommend the TKC 70!

Yes, in B-mode, because the throttle response is gentler. Trackingcontrol off. The Suspension suited me perfect, also offroad. Not to stiff for me. Only the 17 "front wheel makes bumps clearer. A 19" front wheel would be better for this. The TKC70 is absolutely top on asphalt. Offroad very well, as long as it stays dry.

what was your regular speed? it looks like you're fast!
The fastes part was at the coast. There we drove up to 80 km/h. Regular speed was between 30 and 40 km/h.

I guess for pretty much flat dirt roads the stock suspension is just fine?
No problems so far on this type of gravel roads.
