They were half-wits, whose only subject was who's famous and who isn't.

I already loved this song, and now I fully feel and understand it, too. Some artists are truly gifted at expressing exactly our emotions with every word and sound. They don't just do 4-chord songs with lyrics everybody can instantly relate to because they're super vague and general, that's what a greedy pop singer does. Feelings are complex, it's never that straightforward, you will not necessarily relate until you go through something like it. Fiona has experienced complex, deep, lasting pain, you can tell just by listening that she wrote the whole song. That's a true artist.

Just because a song isn't number one, or an album doesn't sell a million copies doesn't mean it goes unnoticed. But I don't think it would kill a few people to take notice of Fiona.

@@hugoparis7606 I see. My experience was quite different. But then again, I first listened to this album after a horrendous breakup (it must have been a few days) and it saved my soul.
