- Just got Gumi like....2 hours ago? So I decided to do a quick test with Housewife Radio since I've been listening to it nonstop. This was really quickly mixed so apologies in advance!

@@Charlie-yt2iy I do have experience with Synth V and a bit of mixing! I usually give myself a couple weeks with a mix, but this time I only gave myself 2 hours with editing the Vsq and mixing cuz everyone was posting their tests with Gumi ^^!

if you played this without the context that it was a synth i'd genuinely think this was just a person singing. it is INSANE how far vocal synthesis has come.
The difference of pronounciation between the engines is fucking crazy 😭

i love it too, and would say that the (stich sew cut pull) cycle in the start is missing and some words in the most known part are kinda messed up

Excellent work on the tuning! It’s so wild how clear and sharp SynthV is and this is such a skilled use of it
(Though I kinda hope Vocaloid/Utau stays weird and synthy, the muffled sound is so stylish haha)
I doubt utau is staying that way
Especially with arpasing going around which makes utaus speak crystal clear and really good english that could even best this if it's not on par
And people are putting vocaloids into rvc which. actually makes them ultra realistic while. Keeping their vocaloid sound so it's hard to tell
Not saying that either is better than this
But it'd be more realistic than synthV since synthV has that specific tone to the voice to which you'll be able to tell that's ist synthV
Versus if vocaloid was used with skill
Or if utaus had aparsing and or also had skilled tuning which make em sound almost completely non different to humans

That actually really does make a lot of sense! I’m happy at how the technology is developing, but I really hope that that muffled, synthetic sound really keeps a place at the table despite it all. I think the variety is good to keep around
small little detail about the original: Dex sings with gumi at the chorus or smthn, yknow the "fm comes in different colors, i believe, in the sewing machine i've lost myself." part also at the "ah his voice speaks to me...." part so it's kind of like henry in the background hope that made sense

the audio seems to move around from the right to the left ear which is very odd and the backing vocals need to be quieter and flow with the main vocals but overall it sounds alright

It was 😭 I made this roughly 2 hours after Gumi came out and couldn't get that part to sound good. This was meant to be just a quick test so I decided to leave it out ! Thank you for listening ^^ 💕

Nice voice，everything is fine except for one small defect is the starting have no voice,it’s seems something missing for a original song, it’s very nice , but when you sing black and white in 2:40 magnetic tone seems too over nonetheless

It's Gumi's AI Voice art! I used it because I think it's a super cute design, and I wanted a different design since they decided not to change Gumi's design from Vocaloid 6 to Synth V for some strange reason!
@@onyxmagica Murakami, the president of Internet Inc., the company that sells GUMI, said that the reason why the designs of vocaloid 6 and SV are not so different is that he wants to treat SV and VOCALOID in parallel (there seems to have been a plan to drastically change the design).

She's $71 for her voicebank on Internet CO's website! Synth V Pro is $90! It's a little pricey, but it's cheaper than Vocaloid 6 and her V6 voicebank. Plus Synthesizer V is a lot more user friendly, and it's easy to get the hang of! There's also Synthesizer V basic which is free, but you won't have access to Gumi's vocal modes or instant mode. I'd say try out Synth V basic as a trial if you're unsure! I definitely recommend Synthesizer V 100% ^^!
