From album Ag Shame Lovey (1987)
    Released on CCP label.
South African superstar Brenda Fassie began singing at the age of 11 in Cape Town, with the group Cosmos. In 1979 Sabata Lebona brought her to Joburg where she performed with the group Joy, before joining Pappa and Blondie Makhene, whose backing band was The Family. She became the lead singer when The Family became The Big Dudes, whose 1983 Melvin Matthews and Desmond Malotana-composed album Weekend Special changed the face of pop music in South Africa. The Big Dudes were comprised of Sammy Klaas, Dumisane Ngubeni, Fats Mlangeni, Desmond Malotane and David Mabaso. Brenda parted ways with The Big Dudes in 1987, and went solo.
