I used to work for Maks and it was the boss that taught me the most. It might seem harsh, but I appreciated total honesty all the time rather than sugarcoating problems. Also, when youre actually doing a good job he sees it, thanks you for doing a great job and gives you the recognition you deserve, it’s so much more rewarding when you know it’s not just him being nice, but that YOU actually did that. It’s not for everyone but I loved working for him and he’s one smart and inspiring person. He just expects people to be equally smart and that’s where his frustration comes from imo.
Hey Maks I'm saying this because I love you. I felt like you were power tripping in this video. A leader is there to figure out how to solve these problems with positive reinforcement instead of pointing the finger. You out of all people should know that adversity is going to happen, and it's your job as the owner of the company to get you and your people past it. If you can learn as you go, that can help you prepare for future situations.

Dawg. He's the boss. He's working with a first time client who happens to be an up and coming rap ICON. He wants to provide BLP the best experience he could ever have, in order to receive repeat business and maintain good relations with him for the future. Plus it was BLP's first piece, and he chose to work with Trax. You can tell with this video this is how Trax runs his business, ESPECIALLY with first time clients. It's all about that first impression. You wouldn't understand.
Max actually needs help. He needs someone who is professional and can remove emotion from the problems that come up on his team. Slamming them verbally with aggression doesn't make these young individuals more efficient; it makes the workplace toxic, sure for good reason, but toxic. They lack first-hand industry experience, which shows if Max had to say everything he did in this video.
every single person working at trax - regardless of seniority - seems to be in their 20's & 30's, pretty clear indication that he's not willing to shell out for experienced people. these videos are honestly a great education into how the wrong management style + poor hiring decisions can sabotage an otherwise (product & marketing) great company.

The scene where he damages the pendant with a butter knife was a concerning focal point in this video. If you cheap out on resources and have no legacy or virtualized systems to support a large team then expect chaos.

This couldn’t be more true. I am a director of a SME, alongside another director. The other director is like Max, and slams all our staff verbally, always wanting the most and giving the least. If he was the only director we would have no staff. Only reason Max can speak to them like this is because he’s famous and the staff feel like they are in a special situation.

I'll tell you Trax, I out of the blue had a TIA, a mini-stroke. I was under so much stress going through a divorce, dealing with custody of my kids, my lawyer was being a jerk to me, I was racking up debt because of the divorce and my house payments were behind, plus my ex was just being a beeyatch. I am on disability because of my back and I am raising 4 kids so that was all going on at the same time too. One day I just felt like I was having an anxiety attack and I was so angry amd so stressed, I could not calm down. Then boom I was in the emergency room. I worry you might suffer the same thing. Please try to get into meditation or something to help you relax in those moments. Life will hit you hard and crush you. I enjoy your videos too much to see you suffer something like that.

NGL, I get Max's frustration. I had an employee like Mickey who would make promises on big projects and every single time I had to come in and supervise at the end to get it done, pulling my time away from other tasks I could've been doing because he couldn't get the details down or having the initiative to see it through if hiccups happened. It's not just risking your reputation, it's also wasting your time, which you could've been spent on other activities making money. Why am I wasting an hour at this location when I could've followed up on other projects or made calls during that time, instead of being stuck here because it's not finished and you keep blowing smoke up my ass about when it's going to be done?
