Idk this probably goes without saying but I want to say it in case there is somone out there that dosent know turn your gain way up pretty much the #most important thing when it comes to getting audible pinch harmonics obviously technique makes the biggest difference but high gain can compensate for imperfect technique and so you should learn it wirh high gain

For anyone wondering, it works by essentially hitting a natural harmonic on whatever fret while picking in the same spot. If you do a pinch harmonic over the 12th fret on an open string, it will produce the same note as if you just did a 12th fret harmonic.
So you basically give an impulse and then shorten the string from thumb to bridge? So the string is voiced to resonate faster to get rid of the extra energy?
If you can figure out the neck pickup.. it’s helpful. but your right.. many of the most actually actively used guitars. literally only have a bridge pickup. seriously, it’s the only way❤
He was classically trained initially. Straight up virtuosic fingerstyle classical guitar before even touching an electric. Granted that was when he was like 7.
It depends on what guitar you’ve got. Bridge pickup basically means the pickup that’s the closest to the bridge (and of course far from the neck) To switch it you just need to play with the switch so it’s on the last position
That means try harder,analyse wt ur doing understand your mistakes , try to change ur technique.Just try more more more u will eventually get it dont give up brother
I'm new to it too but I find on my HSS configuration guitar, my sweet spot is new the pickup the middle (playing through the humbucker of my guitar) and tilting my hand slightly

Everyone's first pinch harmonic was a complete accident
Mine was. On a crappy squire strat that had certain sweet spots that screamed more than others.
