I remember seeing Mary and Eamonn in the Startight Lounge (long gone) in Galbally when I was 9-10 yrs old in 1968-69 . A lifetime ago 🙂. Nice to hear you again .
I remember them well. Even got a lift home one night to Killerig Cross from Carlow. They saved me a very long walk in the early hours of the morning. They might of been singing in Carlow that night. I seen them a number of times in the Towers Duckett's Grove as it was my local at the time, and a very popular place to go back in the 70's and 80's. Pulled down now. Drink driving killed that place off. It was a shame. Billy Molloy and the wife ran the place back then. Two very nice people. We were young at the time and I always would try to get billy's wife to server me. As they say. She was a bit of a beauty.
Seen them on New faces a talent show in Britain just picked wrong song on the night in my opinion always a great night out listening to them back in the day
