- For this video, I decided to use 3 of the Wehrmacht faction's unused units: The Officer, Nebelwerfer, and Goliath.

Old, but these units are not bad. Nebels are awesome against paks and make great artillery. Goliaths are amazing, because you need extreme situational awareness, to not get caught off guard and lose a squad or two against them. They can also be used like a forced retreat, howitzer destructor or blob killer. Officer I never used, but I can imagine you can trick a lot of players into believing that you went Terror, or Defense doctrine, because so many people forget he even exists or what he can do. Its also nice to have his abilities, since usually you need to pick a doctrine for them.
Recoilless rifles generally aren't 100% recoilless. They do escape a lot of recoil using the same method as a rocket launcher by having an open back-end. The difference is that rocket launcher fire rockets while a recoilless rifle fires a shell.
Ah, okay. That makes sense.
cmasupra not completely true some recoilless rifles didn't have hole in the back some of the earliest recoilless rifle were standard rifles with an enlengthened barrel and had larger shell an example is the lhatti 20 mm light recoilless anti tank rifle
cmasupra also if you sub to me i will sub to you
Lahti L-39 was a anti-tank rifle. But it was not a recoilless rifle! Where did you get the idea that the Lahti L-39 was ever classified as a recoilless rifles? I'm genuinely curious cause if someone classified the Lahti L-39 as a recoilless rifle I would really be interested in knowing why...
Bjottis well I got the information from forgotten weapons I think he said it was classified as a recoilless rifle because the extended barrel I'm not sure though
In top matches it's usually those units that you see all the time. Reason for unused units is that lower skill players don't use them because they require more micromanagement. Recently lost a match to officer, nebel, puma/stug combination on semois. Very powerful if you know what you're doing.
I think the Nebelwerfer is pretty good because if your opponent has dug in it can be very useful or if your opponent has artillery and is bombing you you can just return the favor.
Officer and nebel are to op against British. And they are also cheaper than stuka. Officer helps for getting production faster. Nebel is cheap and hard to lost and it burns ground. If you wanna play in island maps they are made for this.
Pro tip if you have defensive doctrine, use an officer and defensive propaganda combination while you are building
Glad to see you back!
Me, too :P
Why don't you ever equip your volks with mp40?
Because you don't want them close to riflemen unless you have two or three squads. Mp40's are good for little raids, but Volks are still better at medium to long range rifle fights rather than getting up close and personal. I'd recommend Mp40's when they're veterancy II or III, otherwise its not cost effective and by that point you already have grenadiers and other anti-infantry capabilities.
@@swahiliranger1022 what’s ur fav team
@@swahiliranger1022 but u right
Great content bro
I once lost against someone using an Officer to supervise their Sturm Armory for a Puma spam on this map, I use sometimes Nebelwerfers when I don't have Munition for Stukas and mostly to harass retreated infantry squads at their base (The 1st e in Nebelwerfers should be pronouced like the "a" in able, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th e -s should be pronouced like the "a" in any) and Goliaths can be so fun and good especially in bridge maps like Achelous River. In case you didn't know Volks are beasts with Bars so you should always pick them up (imagine a Volks squad with 5 Bars)
The Officer can be useful for that. He must've had a lot of fuel income, though, so I'm thinking you might have lost early in the game.
That's hard to pronounce. I'm going to stick with my English pronunciation :P
Speaking of pronouncing German stuff, V in F.ex volksgrenadier is pronounced like Folksgrenadier.
Thereby just call them Folks XD
Cmasupra yeah I saved that replay to see where I f...ed up and it was like not even 15 min I think and I remember they said GG and I was like
I NEVA GIV UP!
Hugo Esson I know right, I live in Germany :D
well, the truth is, i come from a country that speaks a germanic language: sweden, so i can speak a bit of Deutsch.
It's funny that the last time I was watching these videos made by cmasupra, it was what? 3 years ago? Glad for you to be back bud!
Yeah, it has been a long time. It always amazes me when I look at my recent videos and videos from 2014 are still on the first page!
Awesome video! Thank you!
I find the officer to be VERY effective when combined with the defensive doctrine in VP matches. Use registered arty on a weak sector alongside the officers forward observation ability. I often use this strategy against the american infantry doctrine (Ranger and AT spam) and it will usually force american players to retreat their infantry. Plus nebelwerfers are useful when you want to conserve fuel for panzers and munitions for arty support, not to mention op against British players. I use these more than Pumas and Volks. I only use golaiths when things get desperate or against garrisoned buildings with snipers or MGs.
Recoilless rifles use the blast of the rocket coming out the back to push the rear of the rocket back up. Canceling recoil... In theory lol
Actually I find myself often using the Holy trinity of defence. A "useless" unit for me is the scout motorcycle and pz.IV probably
It 2019 great job on the video awesome game!
cmasupra is god's unknown gift
Me seeing my enemy spamming nebulwafare sorry for wrong spelling and just bombard my enemy
Nebs are amazing at taking out anti-tank. Also useful for british trenches.
why do you not attack for the victory points when your 3 capped
Why would you bring nebelwerfer (Artillery) when you don't need it? Why wouldn't you brang it when you needed it?
get well soon mate!keep making this world a better place by making these videos!i'm looking for a chance to play with u, I am eager to learn more strategies for this game hehe
I use German officer for bloop attack and base destroyer
Most unused unit ever is bergepanzer from pz elite
I have a question how can i use m10 Tank of the allies (for Germans called m10 Jagdpanzer) because i Never Found this Tank but others used him in online Mode against me
You have to de-select the M18 Hellcat in the "Rewards" tab.
i have used the officer more than one time
Goliaths are actualy good btw
Too bad you didn't win. You managed to kill a lot of his units. You were being too causal with getting triple capped with the VPs. Still very enjoyable though.
how can you say to your squads that they first cap a fuel point and after that cap an amunition point?
Right-click the first command (which can be a capture, move, or whatever else), hold down Shift, and then queue up the next commands. You can add as many as you want as long as you're pressing Shift.
Extra tip: do the Shift thingy... on the tactical map (press 0 on the calculator part of the keyboard) It speeds up the process nicely.
Somewhat weak opponent, I should say (I don't know which rank or leaderboard position you both were)
-Giving you the +16 Fuel.
-Not a lot of fancy manouvers (his first BAR attack was just a massed blob, for example)
-Going for Airborne after seeing that a SdKfz. 234 was on the field.
Maybe you were playing just for laughs and didn't really focus on micro, just getting the underused units and toy around a little bit, but there are some sections that could have seen better execution, like at 13:50: you should have tried to kite those Paratroopers.
i use the nebel and i like it
Why not deploy ATLEAST one sniper :-D
moreeeee
I know this video is 1 yo but I can't resist. I totaly disagree with 2 last units. Of course you can't use them normaly but in exact situations they are helpful as fuck. Especialy goliath used it only like a sneaky mine against blobs. Same with nebeles. I was having a few games like when I play agains US player with blitz and goes straight to T3 and 1-2 nebels was helping a lot against US inf blobs. On maps like langre they range can go right to their base and that is crushial for other player having rocket piace of shit that can catch their infantry around medic station.
Hey cmasupra! Would be nice if you respond to your comments a bit more, never seen you do so...
Look again ;) I actually do respond to some comments. I just don't do it until after a video has been out for a while because I'm usually not home.
Okay then, just that I have never seen any replies by you, my fault
Never understood the officer xP
