Well, first I'll say that this comes across as only yet another rehash to cash-in on nostalgia from guys our ages; Rayner's my least favourite Green Lantern of Earth (I've repeatedly tried and I'd thought I'd disliked Guy but no); and this reminds me that you had begun to review but hadn't finished, “Emerald Twilight”. OK, pressing 'play'. Aaaggh, “modern day comics” and you expounding upon it! Volume 7, indeed. That was all painful, though. Moving along: the Oblivion Wave releases energy from a pocket dimension? Is that how you explained it? Well, this was like an annual story. One-off, self-contained and ultimately, what's the point? It was fine to revert to the time when DC still existed as a comic book company who were the ones still handling their own characters, and with care and craft. No blonde men allowed in this pocket universe's roster of super...see that? The pin-ups were good. Since I hadn't read either Emerald Twilight nor Zero Hour and now I don't have to (nor do you need to continue reviewing) with your brief synopsis here, I was less connected to the Parallax lore despite preferring Hal as top Lantern. Great callback artists contributing here. Thank you for yet another review, and of a recent book that actually seems like a DC comic, Marinus. Take care and have a relaxing incoming next week!
100%. And it worked. Hal is my guy, but i accepted Rayner. he can never replace Hal. I knew he always back, just like Barry Allen. Lol thnx!! I had to for narrative sake . Yes. According to alot of other people the Pocket dimenion fell apart because Parallax's energie was running out ( don't aske me why. There were alot of unanswered questions) and Evil Hal wanted to release that energy to the main Universe, saving his own. The point was: "Look what we've took from you and you never get it ever again" 😤. Probably the Parallax entity will havea story in the future...or not. Who knows by this point. DC is lost anyway.😒. yeah now that you've mentioned it. hmmmm. Ah yes. I probalby won't review Zero Hour then. The creative team was top noth. Probalby the only reason that i've got this book in the first place, because i know DC won't give them work after this. Will do, Mike Jordan😅. See you in the next. haver a great day!!!
