Im a paradox grand strat nerd, so the map painting does speak to me, I like what you're doing here, but it's still rough and unstructured. If you decide to make more - and I hope you do - you might consider adding major topographical features to the map; mountain ranges, major rivers, deserts, the kind of things which really impact how and where people choose to live. Might make you ask "why would the Spaniards cross to asturias by land when theres seemingly open coasts in Toulouse?" Motivations etc. Maybe also consider a wider picture of who is beginning where, I'm not sure if all of humanity is mean to start in Cataluna, or if it's meant to be a civilizational seed and tribes exist elsewhere, but the wider picture, and the influences of the woutside world may make for some interesting stories. For all we know those Gauls that came around halfway in might be an indication of human movements further afield In Europe. Perhaps off map in Sicily there's a highly developed mercantile island people. You don't need to explore those regions, but it may be worth considering how the region you are focused on is part of the larger picture of organized human interactions. There's kingdoms and wars, but how and why they form, and make war isn't clear. They have armies because kingdoms have armies, but how are those armies fed, organized, and armed? Are the professionals, levies, slaves? Thinking of this kind of thing may lend some depth and drive as to how and why certain interactions happen. I'll say again. I like what you're doing here, and I hope you keep painting maps, but I also hope you keep developing the rational behind why the map paints in the patterns it does.
