Extract is recommended to be 1 oz beans per 8 oz alcohol and sit for a year. I get my beans from a co-op at really great prices.
I have made a lot of vanilla the old fashioned way. This made me think about making some for guest gifts at my daughter’s baby shower. Has anyone made vanilla using the instant pot method to speed things up?

Might have to do this again for family Christmas gifts. Did it years ago and they loved it.

Great gifting idea...do you know what an expiration date would be Once you make them?
It doesn’t expire.
3 months with 4 beans will give you lightly flavored vanilla vodka, not extract. Sorry.
Seems like yo< know more about this process....do you know what an expiration date would be once you make them?
