To cry while talking about what you do for a living? This has to be the ultimate goal. Amazing!

I am a 5 year cancer survivor, and I just discovered photography this past year and it has given me hope and motivation to get up when I don’t want to go out and try to get beautiful images. I do a little of everything and I went from a used Nikon D 7100 two are used Nikon D 800 and I love them both and photography is my life. To take a family portrait knowing that I captured the love and bond of that family and it will be hanging on their wall or in their photo scrapbook that could last for centuries. And the passion us photographers have is mind boggling On what we strive to make a better shot and what lengths we will go to to get that image. Sometimes I am my own worst critic but I would’ve gave up on photography the first time I tried because I used ISO for shutter speed and all my images stunk. But that made me stop and take the time to learn this trait. But I am happy that I failed because now I have such a passion for this it keeps me going

I can so relate to the two of them, for how they explain the drive & passion is how I feel, but . . shortly after I was married I took my wife on an assignment for a two day shoot to the other end of the state. Driving home she confided that I scared her and the reason was "when the camera strap goes around your neck, the entire world ceases to exist except what you are focused on." That hurt! I then dialed back the passion & drive to make sure I didn't lose my family. I could have a wall hanging with awards in photojournalism, but those awards won't keep me company in my old age. Thirty years later I have three grown & married children, and my wife and I are still together. If one want's to climb the ladder/mountain, follow these two great photogs advice. I wish for the D4s, but am relegated to the Nikon 1 system these days.

Thanks for the video Nikon and Corey. Corey: I love your editing and your ending where you mention everybody's contribution to it. I love you mentioning Marina and Leila's crucial contribution to yet another wonderful short film. I'm barely getting into short film making and boy this was very inspiring. I hope to learn more from your style. Thanks again buddy.
