Thanks, Roger in the Shop! I had considered using my airbrush compressor, but instead opted for a 30L/min. air assist pump. Still waiting on the 3D-printed nozzle. Really enjoying this laser. Man, the extra costs sure do add up quick. But when I get into a new venture, I do like to have everything I need for it.

My concern about the air assist pumps is that if the outlet feed to the laser is closed and it is still running, it will cause back pressure leading to possible damage to the diaphragm of the pump. Ideally the air assist pump should switch off at the same time as the air control valve to the laser head.

Some lasers have that feature, but most do not.

Mine is not putting out much air and it’s burning my wood what could a problem be?

Check for a kinked or blocked line. If air flow is poor right at the pump, and it is on 100% output, you may need to replace it.

@@rogersshop yeah I took everything apart, but I think it’s in the elbow where the air holes goes down inside of the laser head so watch RUclips video on that this morning so I’m gonna go check my settings and everything. I’m getting a new laser, but I don’t know what I want yet, so thank you. I appreciate it. Hopefully, I figured it out.

It's more about pressure, not about L/min
