This is my dream space wow. Minimalistic and compact.
I want to put 4 of these in my backyard and rent them all out haha.
It's great, but the price of this should be no more than 30k Euros.
I believe the starting price point for these in the US is 125K. That's absurd for a shoebox and totally the opposite of why people are switching to tiny homes and minimalist living. I can still buy a 4 bedroom house for 150k in Virginia, why would I spend 25k less, for a live in garage space?
People buy these houses largely because they are so energy efficient. When you buy the house it already comes with energy efficient appliances and with some solar panels on the roof it can be net zero. You can buy a conventional house if you want, but I am getting one of these (the extended one) so I can have lower monthly utility bills.
@@tomriordan6008 you can get solar panels and make any house energy efficient for very little money, that does not justify the price of an extremely overpriced shoebox.
@@gonebymidnight2881 I would have to now agree with you. My wife and I have decided to go with a prefab type house that is larger because she just started working remotely. It will still have solar!

They gotta lower the prices
It really makes the most sense for water and sewage. My house is a converted shed or garage and the bathroom and kitchen are like that. Rather than tear out the slab foundation or extensively tear up the walls and redo the sheetrock to separate the kitchen and bathroom, they put the bathroom and kitchen next to each other. It shaved 1000s off the cost and was easier and simpler for the builders. With space being at a premium in the Koda, the builders likely tried to consolidate the water input and sewage as much as possible. They didn't want pipes going all over, especially in a structure without a basement or crawlspace.
I love the design of these homes. Personally I would do away with the dish washer and exchange that space for a small stove and a slightly larger fridge. I only use one spoon, fork, bowl, plate and cup.

Let’s be real, it’s nice and simple for people that need minimal stuff because they eat out the majority of the time. With a single basin kitchen sink, no oven and for some reason, a dishwasher that has a larger capacity than the refrigerator... this simply would not be ideal for many.
This one is my favorite so far is there any other colors I would like to see what it looks like in gray

They use an induction cooker instead of stove next to the sink.

The US model is slightly bigger, with more space in the shower room for washer and dryer. Prices starting from US$90k.

I've seen full houses where the toilet is in the kitchen or the living room with no walls or doors separating them. So really it's not that bad. Just think of it like a bathroom in a camper.

Great design, but I think a brighter color (not black) would expand it visually. This way it's still cool, but the black kind of makes it look smaller
