Love these videos, just a very quick note. When using the assisted launch control you bypass the system if you feather the clutch, you have to basically drop the clutch for it to function as it was intended, I do not have the balls to do so, but I saw you also feather the clutch while using launch, just a note, great video still!
Hate to tell you this but you allowed the engine to bog down in every start. Your test is consistent because you did the same thing every time. When feeding in the clutch, you must not let the Rev's drop below say, 7,500rpm minimum and allow the back wheel to catch up with the Engine speed, it is a fine line to get this right. Awesome content
I love your attempt at manual mode. Although it was still in launch control made, you can tell by looking at the red still showing in the rpms. In order to get out of launch control mode, you have to shift into third gear or shut off the bike.
@topmaster999 at 4:55 I thought it was a continual recording. Either that or the bike was shut off long enough for the redline to back off to around 9k (which is where it normally sits during LC). I was playing with it one day, left it one and didn't realize it doesn't shut off unless you upshift out of 3rd, into 4th.
The bike was turned off for a bit to let my clutch cool down at 4.55 it does look like launch control is still on from the previous launch but the ones after that I know for sure it wasn’t on haha. If it was on at 4.55 it wasn’t intentional 😂
I think your right haha Well I’m glad I was able to launch the bike a bit faster when it was actually turned off but I also think I just had more practice at the end so that def played a huge role why I could launch faster
@topmaster999 BTW, I love the videos. I have an M1000R with the full carbon package (rims and all), so I come to your videos to learn more about my bike.

A part of me knew I had to dump the clutch 😂
Super loving the content man. As an s1000rr owner whos lazy to get out and do these myself, its so nice to see.
That’s awesome! I love comments like this, it motivates me to make more videos! :)

I def need more practice getting it perfect!

The last 3 runs I didn’t use launch control but I did have wheelie control turned on. I did turn the the bike off to turn it off

It was defiantly off the last ones, just that one

I’ve just got the carbon version 😊
I’m jealous!! 😁
In the beginning you said you have 2 launches left, why does it limit you?
Launching the bike heats up the clutch plates so it limits you to 3 launch’s so you don’t over heat them :)
I believe you have to wait 3 minutes (or something like that) for the clutch to cool off and you get more launches.
Yup it was around that. I rode the bike for a few mins at highway speed and it gave me 1 launch right away

Oh damnnn I’m jealous, I wanted that one but it was $7000 more It looks sooo so good. But thank you! Is there any video ideas you’d like to see?
😅got a headache watching your view, while you talk
I Also noticed I got way too much head movement! But I was always checking for traffic around me haha
Very informative, 👍🏻
