Consensus, providers of support and accommodation for adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) launched our #PWSandme Campaign, which looks beyond PWS as a ‘condition’ to the people whose lives have been touched by it, with the aim of creating better understanding and awareness of this rare genetic disorder.
Moving out of home is a major milestone for anyone. For those who have PWS (Prader-Willi Syndrome), dietary support and carers who really understand the syndrome in order to support them to achieve short and long-term goals is essential.
This film gives an insight into what parents who have a child with PWS experienced when their child move on to a specialist Prader-Willi supported living or Prader-Willi residential service.
