Chicken and duck Mom here! They will put themselves to bed if you wait long enough. My girls have always gone into their coop around dusk and settled in for the night. They're very much creatures of habit and I never have to chase them down for bed. Now Ducks? They're like toddlers, I have to make them go to bed. I'd recommend waiting till a little later each evening and see if your girls don't get into their coop on their own each night.
This is so accurate!🤣 my chickens will now put themselves up but the ducks still have a hard time finding the coop every night!

Your ducks are really cute, and the sounds they make is such a vibe❤️ One question: have you ever experienced any of your ducks just flying off? Since they can fly I’m surprised that they stay put out in the open🙃

Yes I love my ducks! They are so special. And they don’t actually fly off because they are too heavy to fly🤣

Your chickens will learn to go up in the coop..you should just have to put them up 2 or 3 times..and sometimes they go up right at dark,just don't put food in the coop.

Yes! It’s so hard to get him to come inside these days, he loves being outside🤣 hopefully when it gets hotter he will want to come inside more often!
