You must watch the movie Somewhere in Time before going - that’s the whole reason I know where this is- and I fell in love with the movie, the filming location and I even named my daughter after Jane Seymour’s character in this movie - please check it out if you haven’t already!!!i was there in 1997 and going back soon!

Thank you so much, this was very helpful. Did you feel the butterfly so was worth the extra money? We’re planning a reunion and wondering what will be a a good use of our time. Thanks for sharing this and for all the additional information.

Thanks so much for watching! I enjoyed the butterfly house - it's pretty and of course cool to see so many butterflies - but it is rather small and, depending on when you visit, rather crowded. I would say to spend your extra money on whatever it is you guys most enjoy - there's great history tours, bike rentals, I'm sure there's some boating/water excursions you could try depending on time of year, etc. - perhaps more experiential and memorable. There's also some stuff located all around the butterfly house, so you could always check out the area, peek at it from the outside, and see if it'd be worth your while 😄 Hope you have a wonderful reunion!

Great video of the island! Was the whole periphery of the island open for biking? I only ask because I saw a video that was a little older than yours saying the part of it was closed off I was just curious. Thanks!

Thank you so much! ♥️ When we were there (June 9-12), everything was open for biking! I didn’t come across any closed roads/parts of the island whatsoever. Thanks for watching!! ☺️
