This was the best piece of music I’ve ever played, even as a percussionist. The only time I’ve lost count because I was in awe of the composition. Having parts at just the right moments made me cry on stage at Steinmetz hall back in high school. Markowski top 5 composer

My son's band (New South Wales Public Schools Symphony Orchestra) played this tonight at the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney, a stunning piece of music, beautifully composed. I hope it's played for hundreds of years to come.

My school did this song last year for CMEA, and we swept the competition, getting ultimate superior. I think learning this song also aided our understanding in sight- reading. And this song carried the performing half of the competition. Absolutely beautiful piece.
