My problem with weekends is usually that I head out out to run errands and then realize that I haven't eaten, so get fast food. Not planning is my downfall no matter what day of the week.
Because I am not on the same work day routine on the weekends I tend to not eat as much during the day, which means I end up eating like crap at night. I would love to see how you eat on the weekend!

Ughh, the small community I live in has parties for everything…like literally every weekend it’s multiple parties for birthdays, baby showers, weddings, Confirmation, baptisms…etc. I’m talking full on catered meals, cakes, snack tables and dessert tables (yes, in addition to the party cake). Dang, it’s hard, because the country folks make some dang good food. 😂

I like Emmas program but I dont think I would pay for it again! She provides everything she says she will in a timely manner, there's an app that shows and tracks your workouts and every Wednesday there's a question forum for "office hours" where she's available to answer anything for you right in the app! I do enjoy the workouts and the macros were pretty spot on to what my dietitian already had me at, overall its a good place to start if you have no clue but i dont think its a must-have purchase by any means.
I did the Macro Inc calculator and it said I need 2000 in a deficit. Daaaang. No wonder I'm always hungry and not losing because I do not eat that much 🤪 anything over 1700 scares me.
Your reverse dieting video came up in my feed again yesterday and it got me to wondering how it worked for you? How did you/your dietician come up with 1650 calories? Are you noticing changes in pounds or inches lost? Or do you think you will need to adjust your calorie/protein goals? I definitely don't lose with 1650 calories but like watching your videos for ideas and inspiration to be consistent. But I am curious how you came up with your calorie and protein goals. I also was going to ask how your dietician feels about Stevia, and if it is "approved" to suggest using True Citrus packets, but I see that you found the plain lemonade ones. All of the flavors are so good!
So the reverse diet was actually pretty fun because I basically slowly increased calories until I was eating basically double of what I had been before that! After the reverse I stopped tracking for a few months and went a little of the rails 🤪 so the break from dieting was really nice and I didn’t gain weight during the reverse, only after when i stopped tracking and became a little too close with door dash, lol! My dietitian calculates the numbers based on my weight and height and activity level etc, there is a calculator on the Macros Inc website that’s the most accurate/close to what my dietitian calculates so I think that’s a great option! A lot of the online calculators are way way too few calories so be weary of anything under like 1300! When I’m consistent on 1650 I lose every week but of course my needs will be different than yours! My issues are the weekends🌝
Every time I use a plastic baggie I think some is judging me 😂 I just feel like those reusable ones can never actually be clean. I typically have the same lunch all week so if I have a dry good like chips I will just throw the bag back in lunchbox and reuse it for the same item the next day.

Hi Marie, glad you like the videos, thanks for watching! For weight loss updates, I hear you! I am focused on losing fat while building muscle, so the scale might stay the same one week but my body is changing through a calorie deficit and weight lifting. For example, the first 6 weeks of lifting weights 3 times a week, the scale slowly went up about 5 pounds, but in the last 2 weeks (including the week in this video) its gone down 3.2 pounds. Along with that I have seen changes in my progress photos and the way my clothing fits, I might share my full month progress photos at the end of the April shred as well. Weight loss is a vulnerable thing, so sharing the number on my scale is not something I plan to do, but if you're eating in a calorie deficit you will lose fat. Also, please make sure to not follow my calorie and protein intakes for your yourself, you will want to seek out that information based on your own body, needs, and goals. Macros Inc is a good website with a calculator if you need a place to start! Hope that answers your question!
