To think we took out loans to go to school, to get a job, we can’t afford gas to drive to, to pay back the loans we took out.
    That’s my rant for today.

I absolutely loved this video. Literally bc it was straight to the point and very knowledgeable. For the longest I’ve been wondering whose damn loans have been forgiven and now I know. I also feel they’ll extend the deadline (praying they do or cancel). I’ve been thinking about the method best for me for repayment. I’m honestly very anxious and worried about paying them, but they’ll be getting paid.

I agree with you guys. If they forgive student loans, great. 🥳 But I’m not banking on it, lol.
These updates are super helpful. Thank you! 🥰

Thank you for covering this...I have just subscribed to your channel. Please keep the informative commentary coming. This student loan system is in shambles. Grads living in their parents' basements (because they can't afford to move out on their own). Grads who don't enter 'serious' relationships (because you can't afford to get married, buy a house so why get serious). Fixing the student loan system will go a long way. It will help clear the debt of student borrowers and give them an opportunity to buy homes, start families and live. It's not fair to ask anyone to decide between eating, paying rent, affording prescriptions and affording utilities (heat in particular with these high gas prices) - and then pay back student loans, during a pandemic (when so many have lost jobs) and with high gas prices (which impact your ability to work). Please keep in mind, some employers aren't being flexible. Some cannot do jobs 'remote' from home. That means loss of income. Some employers aren't agreeing to partial schedules of commuting 2 or 3 days a week. How can you keep working, paying bills when gas has gone from roughly $320 per gallon to over $450 per gallon. I fuel up and 48 hours later my gas tank is on empty. Can't keep up at this rate. Pause this system until we get the situation worked out. Grads shouldn't struggle this hard.
