Yep, he already has an apartment in Sunny Isles Beach, Westin and now Fort Lauderdale.

looks like a temporary fix for Messi, a man walking with man-marking bodyguard 24/7 even into the pitch would need more privacy than this, plus no field to kick the ball in the backyard with his kids, it must be a pain to move in here for Messi.
You make some good points but also this is over ten million so idk how temp it really is. I'm sure he already has a temp place like an apartment which is easier to get into. Who knows, maybe ur right. It will be a good investment for him regardless. Some of the biggest sports names like Lebron James (when he lived in Miami) lived on a normal street (not gated) and didn't even have a basketball court.
Now that i think of it more. Ur prob right and the real reason he prob picked it up is because its close to the stadium

Dude is a billionaire and settles for this. I would have atleast gone after a more majestic or ultra modern home.
It's not his only home in South Florida. Perhaps he picked this one because of the proximity to the stadium. Who knows but it's still a good investment.
