  • Someone wanted to know what was the grade of this hill. I used my app on my IPhone and was at 25% grade. The grass was wet this morning from dew. As you can see, I could operate the mower without any issues coming down the hill.

    I'm going to match a few other comments here but this video (and your others) were very helpful in the browsing. Here you had the slop and wet turf, not sure there could have been a better demonstration. Thank you!

      You are very welcome. I love this mower. So much safer to use on slopes.

    Great stuff! My next mower right there when my 2006 Toro LX500 50 inch kicks the bucket. It will be awhile the 22HP Kolher is still doing fantastic. I have only replace the belts a PTO and PTO switch, and normal tune ups snice I had it. Might have to replace the key switch soon and the reverse panel. Best mower I ever own

    So what is the technology that makes this model work so well with the hills? I just measured my area, East Tennessee, and my steepest slope is 25 degrees, too.

    So when you say 25%, means about 15 degree slope? I got your exact unit delivering to me Monday, I am hoping to run on some 15-20 degree slopes. Cub Cadet website says you can run it up to 20 degree, dealer told me you can go even steeper than that without issues....looking forward to running mine.

      The app on my phone says it was a 25 degree slope. I miss spoke by saying percent. But you won’t have any issues I don’t think.

      How'd you go on your 20 degree plus hills with this machine?

    Do you have the striping kit on the deck or is that the natural striping achieved by the deck itself?

    How do you find the vibration levels from the engine on this machine? I just got the zts2 50 and find it pretty intense for my feet and also in the seat.

      I’m not sure what you are asking. But I don’t feel much vibration when using it. Mine is actually not bad at all. If you just bought it I would take it back to the dealership and have them check out for a possible bent blade or something.

    Since there appears to be no Brake. If you are going down a steep hill, how do you slow down?

    • @trinitypentecostal5486
      @trinitypentecostal5486 2 года назад +1

      You just release from pushing down on forward pedal and it comes to a stop unless it’s a very steep down slope. And there is a park brake near the seat

    Thanks for sharing, planning on getting this mover. Only question, how did you measure it is 25 degree slope? It looks more like a 13-16?

    • @davidwilmoth5347
      @davidwilmoth5347  2 года назад +1

      I used a app on my IPhone that you lay the edge of the phone on the slope and it gives you the degree of the slope.

      @@warriorsf911 Yea when I got mine in very early spring my dealer only had 2 like mine. And he said he didn’t know when he would be able to get any more. I’m glad I got mine. I’m so happy and satisfied with it. I love mowing any hill up and down or any which way I want too.

    No way those are 25 degree slopes. You'd be holding on for dear life counter leaning like mad. I live on a property with hills from 25 to 35 degrees that need mowing and to go sideways on a true 25 gradient, even on something like a Grillo that will beat the cub cadet on hills any day, is an adventure to say the least.
    Those hills are 15 degrees tops and a piece of cake for any mower.

    • @davidwilmoth5347
      @davidwilmoth5347  11 месяцев назад +2

      Like I said. I used an app on my iPhone that measures the grade of slopes in degrees and I stated the truth. Besides that, since I put that video out I have mowed on steeper slopes and had no issues. If you don't own a Cub cadet ZTS2 then you will never know. So don't dis-believe it until you have one and prove it on video. I cannot say anything about your mower of what it does or wont do, and I could say I don't believe anything you say about your mower, but I don't have one so I cant say anything about it. I KNOW WHAT MY CUB CADET CAN DO AND CAN PROVE IT BY SHOWING IT IN ACTION.
