How well i remember when I was 17 and the love of my life , Linda, who was 16 , and I sung this beautiful song together. She played the piano and sang soprano, while I sung tenor. Seventeen years ago Parkinson’s took her ability to play the piano away from her. Eventually it even took her ability to sing away from her her. But she died on April 14, 2020, with a beautiful smile on her face as I sang once more to her. Thanks for singing the songs that this 81-year old Christian still thanks God for bringing music into this world.

Dear Rosemary, thank you for this hymn, that’s reminded me to go home. When I was kid each day I go home I have to pass through the corridor of a church before reaching my home which is a few doors away from church. I used to pray while walking along the corridor, thanking God for the day and food I had.
How many times I responded to an altar call with this song! Even though I had given my heart to Jesus at the tender age of 4....over the years, I desired to always to have a tender heart toward the Lord. In looking back, I can see that even tho we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon...His wonderful Grace is undeserved favor toward us...His wonderful Mercy is when He doesn't give us what we do deserve! Thank you for this wonderful song Rosemary! Sung from a pure heart with the love of a child of the Lord! What a wonderful thing to know that we will be with Him during the endless ages. Home forever!

Another of my favorites Rosemary. When you play and sing these old traditional songs, if only for a few minutes, you transport me back over 50 years when I was a child sitting in church. So many times over my life, it was these songs that helped me stay close to God. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us.

A “real “ musician with a alter call, amen. The lyrics of the old hymns had so much substance to them , something that is sorely missing in much of today’s music. Far too much is just emotional jiberish that centers around people rather than glorifying God. But what you are doing is a breath of fresh air, being used to reach people while there is still time. Even though our family all love the lord , it’s still very hard when you lose a family member as my wife just lost her mother and her father is dying at the same time. So your song choice was still touching but for a different reason then what you had planned!😊 I am a 62-year-old man that had a life altering spinal cord injury that left me semi paralyzed 6 1/2 years ago. Since then I’ve had two different times where I’ve had spinal meningitis and yet I still believe that God can use me greatly regardless of my current physical condition. Rosemary I love that song it was beautiful. Every time I hear it I cry because one day I know I will be with my Lord and my family. I ask God every night in my prayers 🙏🙏😇 to forgive me for all my sins and make me a better person. I have a lot of health issues going on. I have neurofibromatosis ( NF 1) it's where you have these little tumors knots on the outside of your body and also they can grow inside on the nerves I do have them on my spine and other places. My mother was the one who had them and me and my 3 sisters inherited them from her. I know in my heart that one day God will take me home and reunite with my family what a blessing that will be. I know that God loves me for who I am ❤️💚💛😇😇🙏🙏🙏🙏. Thanks you for taking time to read what I wrote. God Bless you and your family. 🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇😇❤️💚
