►Part two of yesterday's Carnation siren visit is finally up ahead of schedule! I placed a recorder between two siren sites a little over a quarter mile from where I was recording the northernmost Whelen and Modulator. I have no words for how incredible this ambience was! During both the Whelen and Modulator activations, both siren sites had minimal activation latency between one another, making it sound like one siren. Recorded on my new Tascam DR-05X.

with the 3012-Bs now having been replaced by 8032-Bs already, the echo from them will probably be absolutely insane now
God that Whelen just sounds beautiful. You can really tell the difference on which one is louder.
