Great kiln load! I can’t believe this was your first time throwing lidded pieces and they are absolutely perfect!! So I see you’re the one buying all of the rolling pins. LOL I hurt my left thumb a week ago today and I still can’t make anything. It’s so painful to do anything with and it’s annoying! I tried to glaze and I couldn’t even do that because I have to hold the piece in my left hand, which is the one that’s hurt! I’m glad you were able to get her the garlic saver. Which one did she choose?

Every time I tell myself I have enough rolling pins, I find another one I "have" to have!
I hope your thumb is feeling better soon! It's so annoying when you want to get work done and you can't.

Thank you so much. I just (re)started doing pottery and I am trying to learn how to use glazes and underglazes. So I appreciate very much how you explain your glazing. About the last plate. What are the white lines around the daisies?

When you apply a celadon glaze to texture it will pool in the recesses and leave the raised part a lighter color. So you are just seeing more of the natural clay body showing through the glaze.

Most of my rolling pins are from Clayshare Marketplace. claysharemarket.com

Where are you? Are you still making pots??

I'm still here. I haven't been making anything in a while unfortunately. I started working full time in December (in an unrelated field) and then I broke my hand in February. The broken hand put a temporary stop to my pottery making. I am back to full use with my hand now, so I will hopefully be putting out some new videos soon!
