Lovely car. I am not sure how things stand in New Zealand and Australia, but in the UK, the Rootes cars seem to have been forgotten. Everyone values Fords, Triumphs and many of the BMC cars like minis and Morris Minors, but it sometimes feels like Hillman, Singer, Sunbeam and Humber never existed, and yet they were such iconic high quality cars. It always fills me with joy to see one of Coventry's finest.
Hillman have always been popular cars in New Zealand and there is still a following for them through clubs. I think there are only about 70 or so registered Hillman Superminx's in NZ, but there will be plenty hidden away I would say. Hillman avengers were very popular cars. The car always gets a lot of attention from people when I take it out. Thank you for the comment and for watching.
@@everything-hillman66 Yeah well I have one a wagon mine was sold new in Hastings and has been there all its life except for two years I had it in Auckland, have you seen the grey wagon with two girls in it, lives in Haumoana I know that car Ive been selling its last two owners parts
