It's funny how is YT algorithm functional. I Saw Salt bae mess with Messi and now boom. RUclips recommend me this from legendary Kavos! For the first time - thank you RUclips for recommending me good stuff besides shit.
Well, the steak is a luxury item. People don't buy it because it's "worth" the price but because it's a symbol of status. How many people who bought the steak are actual foodies? How many people who drink old aged wines actually enjoy it? How many people actually like playing golf? People just do it because it screams "I'm filthy rich".
That's exactly what I always thought of his stakehouse. It's obvious to any idiot that he is ripping Rich Whales off but then again I guess most of the money for an item pays for the status rather than the item or food itself.
He is not hanging out with any of those celebrities. His relationship with celebrities is the same as the Messi thing. He poses candidly with people he is not friends with, just as he's holding the world cup he has nothing to do with. A typical behavior of his kind.
I knew something was going down in Salt bae restaurant especially if you check the reviews in Google about his restaurants the fucking meat sometimes is undercooked

Some of this stuff is messed up like not paying contractors for work. However on the ‘stealing tips’ situation. No business is obligated to distribute tips as ultimately they are put into the businesses earnings and then handled how the owners see fit. It may be morally wrong, but I’ve worked in restaurants long enough in the past to know that it is not an obligation for the owner to give you a portion of the tips
I'm pretty sure that it's illegal in Germany, to touch the tips. It's basically a direct gift from the guest to the one serving them. So the restaurants should have no say in how the tips are handled, here at least.
It’s like people spending an obscure amount of money on designer clothes and a person always says oh I would never spend $1000 on a shirt or $2000 on a pair of jeans but don’t have the money to do so!!! So yeah of course you won’t but if you had the money to do so yes you would want to buy nice things and live a luxury life without it being a problem !!! cause now you have the money to do so !!! If you work hard enough to actually be able to enjoy your life then y would it be a problem ??? It looses me !!! How do you not know if they just secured a quarter million dollar contract and wanted to go out to eat somewhere they’ve never been in a place that has a number of great reviews then y should it be a issue
The restaurant I worked at refused to pay for overtime so if I ever hit 40 hours I would walk out, luckily for me tho they wouldn’t fire employees at the time because they would of had to pay my unemployment check which was high asf back then
Funny thing about him is : Why does he hang out with A list celebs and athletes but not A list chefs (Ramsay or White)? And that's makes me wonder. Also : WHY HE EVEN NOT APPEARED ON ANY TV CHEF SHOW ?
I find it absurd when we call people out for greed and fame getting to them. It could have been all of us and it normally happens to most of us once we are introduced to them. Very much the human thing.
I have no problem with selling overpriced stuff, there’s always people that’ll pay for it to feel like they’re getting something exclusive. Just pay your employees decently and treat them well. I’m making $8 more just working from my shitty car, can’t imagine what it’s like working in some fancy upmarket place with overpriced menu items but still making so little and getting your tips taken away.

This one aged well...
The problem is people willing to pay to eat at his restaurant, if i had the money i would never spend it like that
that's hospitality for you, we don't get card tips at my work, everyone is on salary to cap their earnings and make you work ridiculous hours, i just finished a 11 hour shift and didn't get one break or food...
been loving the content recently and the regular uploads!
i think a lot of people miss the point of the video judging from the comments. you can put any price on anything, people will laugh at it if it's outrageous, but it will stay there. being a shitty employer is a totally different matter and worth of actual ridicule.
you should do a video about the munch coffee in japan (900 dollar coffee) and why no one calls them out. although i think it's just one dude, but still, that makes it even more impressive.
being a good businessman can work miracles for your reputation.
A celebrity chef hangs out with celebrities. Mind blown.
Lol
I’ve never understood the attraction to his weird salt ‘move’ (I don’t even know what to call it). I get that it went viral because a celebrity tweeted it but I don’t get the insanity over it. I saw a video showing two women losing their minds because he walked in the room. He sprinkles salt ffs… what’s the big deal!?
Just look at him. He’s like a god. Makes me collapse at my feet everytime I see his face
Bodger & Badger would have something to say about that 12 quid mashed potato
It's funny how is YT algorithm functional. I Saw Salt bae mess with Messi and now boom. RUclips recommend me this from legendary Kavos!
For the first time - thank you RUclips for recommending me good stuff besides shit.
Well, the steak is a luxury item. People don't buy it because it's "worth" the price but because it's a symbol of status. How many people who bought the steak are actual foodies? How many people who drink old aged wines actually enjoy it? How many people actually like playing golf? People just do it because it screams "I'm filthy rich".
Millions enjoy playing golf lmao
That's exactly what I always thought of his stakehouse. It's obvious to any idiot that he is ripping Rich Whales off but then again I guess most of the money for an item pays for the status rather than the item or food itself.
It's not even cooked right lmao I saw a video and it was pink as shit inside
Mad cuz ur broke
@@yxrackman2397 it’s supposed to be pink 😂
The 37,000 meal would of been a lot cheaper if they did not buy that 2003 wine.
Clicked faster than my girlfriend leaving me
Wanna talk bro ?
@@SungTheRealRiceGod na bro
@@gunsarefun3502 Keep y’a head up king 🙏🏿 🤴
@@SungTheRealRiceGod appreciate it 👍
Wholesome
He is not hanging out with any of those celebrities. His relationship with celebrities is the same as the Messi thing. He poses candidly with people he is not friends with, just as he's holding the world cup he has nothing to do with. A typical behavior of his kind.
Who comes after World Cup 2022😅
37000 at a restaurant?🤣
They probably sh*tted it out the same day 🤣🤣🤣
I knew something was going down in Salt bae restaurant especially if you check the reviews in Google about his restaurants the fucking meat sometimes is undercooked
Really shocked....
I can't even imagine that there might be celebrities that we don't know what secrets they are hiding....
So he doesnt want to pay the construction workers?
I hope he gets dine and ditched everyday!
In Turkey he isn't liked anymore because of this has been going on for years. It's like he forgot where he came from and the fame got to him.
12 an hour for that typa restaurant is crazy. I was making 12 at my old job in cvs 😬
Really though.. but also what state do you live in because $9 is like the most you start off in the South of USA working at CVS
salt bae has always been a weirdo
Salt bae and kavos at the end of the day are twins, both only breathe air because of saltiness. Kavos is that bitter ex that looks back at that one day he treated his ex great and acted like that’s how it was the entire relationship
we need a video that exposes Kavos
damn kavos is QUICK with the consistency in uploads
You could fly to Japan and have some amazing beef and still come back home richer than one meal at his shitty stuff .
Petition for Kavos to get the Golden Tomohawk
holy mother of God that's expensive 4:43
who's here after the world cup incident lol
I despise him even more after the world cup incident. He's a real cringe.
I can buy the whole cow with $1,000 a dollar
Some of this stuff is messed up like not paying contractors for work. However on the ‘stealing tips’ situation. No business is obligated to distribute tips as ultimately they are put into the businesses earnings and then handled how the owners see fit. It may be morally wrong, but I’ve worked in restaurants long enough in the past to know that it is not an obligation for the owner to give you a portion of the tips
Why was he ordered to pay 230,000 in the lawsuit then?
I'm pretty sure that it's illegal in Germany, to touch the tips.
It's basically a direct gift from the guest to the one serving them.
So the restaurants should have no say in how the tips are handled, here at least.
@@Blank-41 maybe his workers had a contract saying they get a cut? Or not idk
Thats weird given how a light skim of google says that federal law makes it illegal for owners and managers to take tips.
Here after the World Cup incident 😅
I’m sorry what made this man, in the midst of this luxurious dining experience, say “a redbull would be splendid rn”
All cash, and no class. So basically, Saltbae's entire customer base
I’d just order some French French fries and a glass of water with a lemon, that’s all I could afford 😂
I'd have to go halves
I’m happier drinking 14 dollar wine 😂
Fuck anyone that says Arbormist isn't delicious
The restaurant I worked at refused to pay for overtime so if I ever hit 40 hours I would walk out, luckily for me tho they wouldn’t fire employees at the time because they would of had to pay my unemployment check which was high asf back then
Funny thing about him is :
Why does he hang out with A list celebs and athletes but not A list chefs (Ramsay or White)?
And that's makes me wonder.
Also : WHY HE EVEN NOT APPEARED ON ANY TV CHEF SHOW ?
That's a good point. He focused more on being an Internet Celebrity rather than honing his skills
@@raghavkaushal7561 see? Clout (internet fame) chaser.
@@edowidivirgian he was always like that. Social Media gives a popularity boost to the worst of the stuff
If those people were complaining about the price of their food...WHY WOULD THEY BUY A GOLD DUSTED STEAK and a bottle of Dom.
Kept thinking that you were saying Soup Bae instead if Salt Bae. A good laugh.
Came to this video after his worldcup antics😂
I find it absurd when we call people out for greed and fame getting to them. It could have been all of us and it normally happens to most of us once we are introduced to them. Very much the human thing.
Yea let's stop calling him out so he earns more money and pays 0. 1% of it to his employees
you're turkish so of course you're gonna condone his bs.
He looks like the guy from weekend at bernies
I have no problem with selling overpriced stuff, there’s always people that’ll pay for it to feel like they’re getting something exclusive.
Just pay your employees decently and treat them well. I’m making $8 more just working from my shitty car, can’t imagine what it’s like working in some fancy upmarket place with overpriced menu items but still making so little and getting your tips taken away.
