I've had a slight break in my nail for about a week and keeps getting caught on my hair and clothing. Goes right through me! I tried this technique, and feels so much better. The only bug bear is when I buffed my nail, it didn't go smooth. I just layered it with loads of clear nail varnish. Hopefully it will grow itself out.

    • @squirrellyb9753

Thank you for these great tips! My mail turned out perfect!
I laid a piece of tea bag each opposite way. Waited for nail glue to dry inbetween before I laid the 2nd teabag layer. Then buffed the glue down to make it smooth, then put base coat, hardener, top coat.
Feel’s good. 😅 I’ll wear my rubber gloves to do the dishes. 👍🏼

I ripped my nail right at the smile line and it hurt! I applied nail glue, teabag and clear acrylic powder. It's fine now. As a base coat, I use nailtique to for strengthener and then I go and use a gel topcoat and the patch holds up pretty well without my constantly patching it up again.

It works! I had a Beau's Line split that was causing pain, and this mended the nail. I used coffee-filter paper instead because that's what I had. Nail glue is crazy glue, slightly diluted which makes it much easier to use in this application, and worth the price.

I watched this yesterday and kinda did it wrong over extending the teabag across the length of my nail. I should have rewatched it before starting, but I repaired small side slits on three different nails. My nails were just too long to cut and start all over, this saved me time and retained my length as well.
