I kind of hate how everyone always says that Johnny Depp (Captain Jack Sparrow) was *The One* who just made the series a legend. Yes, of course, he is a great actor and he nailed his role so f*cking incredibly fantastic! We can all agree to that. But may I just say Geoffrey Rush (Captain Hector Barbossa) did too. He also made this show a complete legend, let’s be honest. The way he played Barbossa was simply genius. He and Johnny made it *both* , and I will miss Geoffrey very f*ckin’ much! You can count on that.

My favorite character from this franchise. Hector Barbossa is absolutely amazing. His constant banter with Jack over the Pearl is just hilarious but when they work together they are an unstoppable force . Also Geoffrey Rush is always a win . I was so happy when he returned in "Dead Man's Chest"and was a main character for the rest of the films
I loved their chemistry, it was half brotherly, half father (Barbossa)/Son (Jack) and half friend-enemies who couldn't stop haha

First of all, great work mate. Second , i always tought Davy Jones was the biggest character of all the sagas, but rethinking about after reading all the comments. Yeah, Barbossa has been the villain, the sidekick and the teacher for Jack. They compliment each other, so that being said, puts Hector atop. I know it is made especially for Marty’s birthday but i hope next year will be a Davy Jones themed video

I don't know how many time i rewarded it! I fucking love and adore Hector and it is so sad that this amazing and great pirate has so much less attention than Jack. And Davy Jones. For me he is better than Jack. Just a tiny bit but it is true. He is truly great captain and pirate. He has so many powerful moments... so please... please... can you do another one with him?

His death was kinda like Yondu's death in Guardians of the Galaxy. Maybe he wasn't a main character or even good person from start, but he died for his child. And after all it broke my heart.
