So i'm not hating on Zack, in fact, he's one of my favorite drummers. Im just saying that you aren't a legend before you stop doing what your famous for, and in Zack's case, it looks like that isn't gonna happen

I'm fairly sure he just had the same sample up and down-pitched and playing consistently across all the tracks, but naturally you would only hear the ones he brought the faders up for. Nothing revolutionary there, but it is pretty creative, can't say I've ever seen anyone do that.
Essentially this video is showing off talent to everyone, picking a winner, the Zack flexing on everyone to show he’s the real winner.

In case anyone was wondering how the Sound Engineer got those sounds, it's just a tone generator with effects into each channel, then all he has to do is label each channel with the note his tone generators is making, and then start playing the mixer!
