dude, what is the issue? you can clearly see the left (her right) elbow bends hard. And it was a reoccurring problem, shown in two lifts.

@@AdmCornFlake the issue is it's fucking stupid, as well as ambiguous. Not only can any flicker of the elbow get called if you're being picky enough, but the rule itself adds nothing to the sport. All it does is interrupt the action with nothing but pettiness. The best way to deal with it is to just get rid of the jury. They do nothing useful anymore.

The weight lifting rules are far to strict. I understand lifting can be technical but weight lifted to body weight should hold the day. Not some tiny arbitrary twitch.
It's fine if you twitch a bit but after that you have to hold it perfectly for a few seconds. That would be the best solution.
I still don't get why some lifts are marked no-lift. Does it have something to do with the locking of the elbows?
Yes. Form needs to be correct, it’s not just about lifting it off the ground. There are three judges. If 2 out of 3 give a “red light” then the lift is not successful.

Given that this is the European senior championships, they will all have to have competed at least twice to have qualified, but obviously they've all competed countless times throughout their careers.
