In Oludeniz there's lots of knock-offs so assume it will be, then if it's not, bonus!! I bought some bottles of Chanel perfume I knew were knock-offs at 10% of the actual cost everywhere else, then he gave me a deal on 3 bottles. It's not as good, but every time I use it reminds me of Oludeniz ;)
Just came back from icmeler and found all the clothes on sale of pretty poor quality although pretty cheap! Suppose you get what you pay for . Also if you don’t like pushy salespeople in shops or bar/restaurant probably best avoided . It can be a bit of a gauntlet especially if going as a couple . A scenic place I’d give it that .

Icmeler and a lot of Turkish resort towns are unjustly expensive despite all the buzz. Besides, in times their standards have fallen to utter dismal. Marmaris, Icmeler are dirty and with greedy Kurds running the show. I have been a regular to Turkey for 2 decades but have fallen completely out of love with it. I will NEVER return to Icmeler or Marmaris ever again. As for the fakes go Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam It is way better than Turkey and the fakes are fraction of the price

They prefer pounds because the Turkish lira isn't stable all shops do don't change your money in the UK you get a much better rate in Turkey 😎👍
