Am I the only guy who watches you? Ha, I appreciate that you show us the whole process, not just the paintings that work out. That's how we learn and you are a very good teacher! Thank You! I really love your cup pours and can't wait to start trying them. My first attempt at painting and I'm 59!

Me too! I watch & watch the artists until I find one that I say to myself "I can do what they''re doing". I keep watching until I practically know every word they are going to say. But once I have gathered everything I need, I can;t get started without my laptop turned on right beside me & there I go again, step by step! LOL

I can beat that i am 77 and have been painting with oils for 20 years but i am loving this new technique and although i find it quite challenging am loving it . Watching the demonstrations is very enjoyable and i can't wait to try each time , even if they turn out to be rubbish. The funny thing is that the pouring takes only a few seconds but the preparation and the cleaning up takes ages , i seem to get the paint everywhere.

This Oranges n pinks n black is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! And you DID get lacing. Gosh Julie.. I don't think you can appreciate what we see. And the fact that not every part is covered with blooms is absolutely great because it is balanced.
I have followed you for quite awhile and you baffle me at times when you are too critical of your beautiful work.
    Love what you do!!!

Julie, thank you for not being afraid to show you too have one's that doesn't work out the way you intended. I think the final outcome way was very pretty! I have ruined so many as I am learning. This teaches me ideas what to do if it happens. I really admire you!

I admire the way you never give up. That small amount of white on the final try actually stretched out nearly across the entire canvas. The final result is beautiful with the black just kissing the edges. Nice contrast. With your "left over" colours it turned out lovely. Wouldn't change a thing.

Your so helpful Julie. I took the purchased course in December and still haven't had any luck. I had asked you about the jo sonja background colors. I had a thought when I saw you placing the foil over your lazy susan. Shower caps and similar plastic container covers work quite well. Also, next time you're not sure where the center is, turn the canvas over and place your lazy susan on it upside down. Hope these were helpful tips as I'm just trying to give back a incy bit of what you give us...♡

I have a turning table similar to this one.
I taped a big thick cardbord on its top. (covered with sticking plasric which I can wipe to clean the paint).
The advantage is that the big canvasses would sit on top of it, not hanging on the sides, conserving the level of the canvas, thus the paint won’t slide to the edges and disrupt the look Iam going for.
I love this painting, thank youfor sharing❤️🖤🧡💛🤎

The first was beautiful ,but I have to admit this is much more Striking ..The blending of the colours throughout is much smoother and the cells and lace in the middle make it look like an exotic orchid..I think it’s Gorgeous and I think as you hit the canvas you need to start turning the board. It worked first time on this one as you started turning as the air and heat hit..Any form of art is a learning curve in which you are always learning.I love how you made mistakes but kept going ,and still kept filming .It’s important that people see videos like this when they are learning as they can see people who have been doing this for longer than them don’t always get it right ..So I think that’s amazing you showed that..It gives them confidence to try and not give up..I even have my daughter subbed to you because I love your work..Stay safe 🥰

Hi Julie!! 👋😎👋 I do think the blues and greens were pretty, but I understand why you poured over them. I agree with others that you are hard on yourself and your work, most great artists are. That's why your finished keepers are so beautiful!!
I wonder if you used, in addition to your center puddle, a thin stream of your CA going out in a spiral to reach the outer edges of your color puddles? It looked to me like when you blew more horizontally rather than vertically, you got a better lacing effect (just my opinion).
Also, I seem to remember that on a previous painting, a tilted not a spinner, you suggested blowing over all of the puddles and not leaving those ribbons around the edges. I think that would be worth trying on these. That Gold and Magenta area blended beautifully, even without the CA.
In the end, I really, really like the black, gold and magenta colors together and the lacing is beautiful. 💖💖💖💙💚💛💜
Thank you, Julie, for sharing your inspirational painting and conversation. I would even bet that most of us did watch all the way to the end and did not fast forward.
God Bless and Peace to you and all your followers!!
