It's meant to represent the history of women. I absolutely HATE the way they're walking. I see the different decades represented but to me it looks like the models are just meant to look as if they're nothing more than robots which makes no sense to me. It's as if the statement is that women are nothing more than robots? I don't get that. It's off putting and I don't like it at all. I don't mind some of these pieces but I know how much Prada costs so there's no way I'd buy something that expensive if I just "don't mind" it. Designers seem way out of touch with the average person most of the time but then again, I guess they don't need to be in touch with us. They do fine without us.
Prada, I've been thoroughly enjoying your new cosmetics range that you released last year, yet I can't go as far as to say the same for the garments in this show. With some luck, you may even have time to finish off the pieces and add a back to them this time next year? It looked like a whole lot of identical shift dresses that were too long and a mass of over-sized tailored jackets that didn't contain a back, only a tiny piece of coloured lining. I'm afraid that this was not to my liking at all. You obviously have an audience out there somewhere who likes the rather weird garments you create, just not from myself. If I wanted to walk the streets without a backing to my jackets, all I have to do is rip them apart and pretend they are yours. As I'm not about to rip apart my beautiful wardrode, you needn't worry about myself copying your looks. I'm quite content with what I own. Although, I am quite curious as to whom actually wears these garments?
