You can hook ground to frame and hot to the plug either way but this way actually helps a governd engine not die as much. Usually soon as I but a new motor I take it apart and take that crap out. Throw the throttle assembly away and make my own. But that's me.

You can use whatever for a kill switch you just need to extend the wires out with butt connectors and some basic why’re you can buy at like tractor supply in the truck and trailer section
Scott Horner yeah it might be a little hard but they will come apart. Bullet connectors are sorta hard to pull apart sometimes. Good luck with your project bro

The bad thing about this is that the black wire you used to shut the engine off is supposed to shut the engine off if it is low on oil.
Yeah thats why I took it off because when you make a hard turn the engine will shut off.
Vinny the ravioli you just solved my problem, on my cart when i hit a hard turn it shuts off
Check your oil and keep it filled. No need for the shut off. Some people remove the whole thing and tap the hole for a bolt.

How do you connect the head light on can't figure it out
Do you need the oil sensor ? Or can you snip the yellow wire and take it all off ?
Gotta keep the sensor itself on there but you can just disconnect the wires like I did but don't cut them.

You need a flywheel that generates current. Predator engines only produce a spark, none for accessories like lights.
A flashlight, zip ties, 2 AA batteries. You're good.

Appear nobody understands this switch just shorts to ground. It does NOT send a signal. Quite the opposite.
