I was there at the BFI when that young woman asked that question. It was an awful moment and thankfully Steve managed to answer so the event wasn't completely ruined . But Reece was genuinely upset by it. Her friend who was with her tried to defend her by saying she was just being edgy but many of us were shocked by what occurred

I am surprised she obviously pushed a button here. I am taken aback by Reece's response given the overall tone of what he does and says. She probably thought she was embracing that when she asked the question. The voice of the woman that asked seemed to be quite feminine and girlish going by the account given. I am wondering if a rough bloke from my neck of the woods (Glasgow) had asked the same question if it would in fact have got a laugh. It seemed to reveal to me that underneath the comedy psycho demeanor, he is quite tender and there may be the incorrect assumption among fans that nothing can offend him because of that demeanour. about the killing the audiance who attend the live shows, bit, I think he says "a lot of marbles when you get home" implying they would arrange for traps to be set at peoples houses
maybe not with the context of it being him asking if something is in squid game, getting told no and assuming it was something else. Unless he's still joking, and asking, is that whats in the live show, is told no and waves it off by saying its from something else
Reece might’ve killed Steve more, but Steve totally got the last laugh with The Last Weekend - definitely the most grim of alllllll the Inside No.9 deaths!
The belt & lightbulb episode really traumatized Steve 😂 whenever he can, he talks about it !
