I am reminded of an old adage about married couples becoming more and more like each other. The reason for this, of course, is that we spend so much time together! You can predict each other’s thoughts after a while. You can even begin to look alike, because you are consuming the same things! As I am thinking about this, I am reminded that the church is described as the bride of Christ… And it takes on so many more nuances!

Ugh! How I over complicated things in my striving to “get it right.” I can just rest in His presence and be assured He will complete His work in me! 🥰
