Tbh, WuWa and ZZZ popularized how Anime Gacha Games direction. Everyone noticed that? They literally make the game goes combo styled based fighting games similar to MGR and DMC. Like action pack instead of Water down version like Genshin. It might just me tho. But first game ever do Open World Combat style is Tower of Fantasy but still simpler and more buggy mess. I think Hoyo and Kuro saw the potential of Combat style games. WuWa isn’t make anything news here, they already have PGR as a base. Hoyo as well, Honkai 3rd is a combat game. These two companies are merging this 2 elements together to make it Open World with combo pack. I won’t say ZZZ is Open World it is more like Semi-Open World but I do like both games (ZZZ a bit more because of HORNY and it doesn’t want to break apart unlike WuWa does. Because my PC HATES UE for some reason).
