Thanks much 😘 for your illustrations. I went through many videos to get "the one" that I was able to relate. That being said, I wish to know how to put in a side zipper, on the side without the sleeve. Please reply soon. I'm making a gown. 😂❤ Thanks. 😊😊
A great video!! I am not an extremely experienced sewer (done more knitting) but it all started to make sense when continuing to watch. Definitely going to try this. 👍 (I have broad shoulders and it is difficult to find suitable one shoulder clothes from the shop)
I always wait for new notifications from u..thankyou...yo the reason I dont skive pattern classes I earlier hated...!I feel like a pro each day..b blessed !
Thank you ma for the tutorial it was well explained. Please can you show us the trick to getting a perfect fit? I always don't getting a nice fitting at the top. How do I go about the nice fitting you have? I'm still learning
Thanks larie your tutorial are do detailed and easy to understand. Please can you do a tutorial on one shoulder with how to add cape and a long sleeve with side slit thanks.
Thanks for the explanation. One question please, On avoiding bulging at the back, if my back waist is 14.5' and my front waist is 16', will I remove 1.5' from the back to avoid bulging?
Hello, D-Don! Thanks for another superb tutorial. Just wondered if you would like to do a top up tutorial to show how the upper yoke could be incorporated in the one shoulder pattern. God bless.
Hi! I jist wanna ask why you didnt line the bust. Instead you lined upper bust to the waist. How did the upper bust measurement became bigger than the bust. Im actually confused. You started the video with lined UB, B, LB and W already thats why i i got confused how you connected the waist to the upper bust instead of the bust... Hopong for your reply. Thanks so much! 💕
I do so just to be on the safe side especially for beginners, by the time they join the panels together if they don't have enough seam allowance, they will be short of fabric at the side seam, so I always suggest adding up to 2 and half inches to the side seam. If after sewing you now have excess side seam allowance then you can trim it off
When sewing, how much seam allowance do i take from the sides. The seam allowance from the front side was 2" and the back is 1.5" or was that taken up in the dart. sorry am just confused🙈
Thanks for watching 💕

Hi,pls what if you're using stretch fabric, how will you take the measurement?
Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful 😍 sister
Thank you so much ma for this video i would love to see how you join this pattern with linen underneath
Ok sis, is just the same way you will join the fabric, then place the lining on the right side of the fabric and sew from the shoulder to the neckline
Thanks you.
Great thanks
Thanks ma'am
If u are not adding a sleeve do u still need to substrate the back
How do you create those beautiful sleeves
well explained tutorial ❤❤ thanks for sharing, pls can you make a video on how to cut and sew a bomber jacket
I have a question if u cut off 1'', won't it shorten the length from the back? Nice video all the same.
Pls kindly explain how to fix the back zip ma. The zipper allowance is showing at the back when am fixing it because the shape is slanted
Hi, did you cut the center piece on the fold or open?
Thank you ma'am
Please. Why do you add 2 and a half inches to side seam. Would it make the bust too big?
I do so just to be on the safe side especially for beginners, by the time they join the panels together if they don't have enough seam allowance, they will be short of fabric at the side seam, so I always suggest adding up to 2 and half inches to the side seam. If after sewing you now have excess side seam allowance then you can trim it off
Tnkx ma'am please I can pad it if I want right?
Please can I see the shaping before joining? It's my area of difficulty
When sewing, how much seam allowance do i take from the sides. The seam allowance from the front side was 2" and the back is 1.5" or was that taken up in the dart. sorry am just confused🙈
Nice 👍👍👍👍👍
Can u give a brief explanation on the figures ....
Hi! I just want to ask, how do you get the distance from the shoulders to bust then bust to waist when drafting a pattern? Thank you! :)
You have to take that measurement. Ask someone to take it for you so that it would be accurate.
When I folded the allowance in, the shoulders are not able to meet well . Help please
