Thank you so much. I will direct as many as I can over to watch this. Now it can be enjoyed as a Canadian Christmas film to watch for years to come..Please keep these coming. please add Desh Videsh as well :)
Thank you! This film was made by George Mendeluk at the old Canukr Studios in Oshawa. It is a Canadian English language Christmas film but has fallen into obscurity. At this time, there does not seem to be much interest in Desh Videsh. I have two musical numbers on this channel from that movie. Perhaps very few know it is there.
This is especially meaningful for our Ukrainian family at this time. I was wondering if you would happen to have another short film by the same director, Christmas Lace1978? It was in French and narrated by Genevieve Bujold. I would love to see this again. Thank you, Lynn Goruk
Very well done! One of my favourite short films!

Does anyone know what recording of Carol of The Bells they used towards the end?
Nice film Mike Marzurky in this film he had a habit of singing in Ukrainian in western films .
Is this the whole movie? I am from Oshawa
It is a short one reel movie about 16 minutes filmed on the old movie studio property in northeast Oshawa.
Wow do you know exactly where?

How so? It’s amazing. I like how simple and relatable the story is.
