I recently saw them live with Dragonforce and kind of regret not being familiar with Pasadena 1994 until after the show, because I'd have picked up their shirt for that song solely to eventually wear to a Sabaton show. I also love that they played a song about the negative and inflationary economic impact of the Tooth Fairy.
Also Pasadena 1994 with Joachim Broden. My favourite songs from them is 400 calci, but the jokes are only for Italian speakers. Also Il signore degli anelli dello stadio is pretty fun (The Lord of the Rings of the Stadium) and you will find English subtitles. Barbie is a power metal song, incredibly executed, if you like metal you’ll love this one.
yeagh, well, they tend to do that, I mean, to suprise you, anyway their last album is great. I don't think this song is lazy, I mean, it's not my favourite song either but the sound is studied, they put effort to suck and it's also full of music references. It's still better of any pop song that comes to my mind. If you're looking for songs from this last album with more metal in it, I suggest you Pasadena 1994, winterstorm in the night or Sober. then, well you can also listen to their songs without video,chupacabra cadabra and the power of imodium are phenomenal! They mixed a lot of genres in this album. By the way their entire older album "Stairway to valhalla" is fantastic and it's more classic metal and the humour is still intact. Barbie is from that album

Pasadena 1994 is their most serious song (with SabatoN Singer Joakim Broden as guest), and I think you’ll like it more than this one. Also Winterstorm in the Night and Armpits of Immortals are pretty fun. In their last album they travel many different genres and yes Backstreet Boys wasn’t expected. My favourite live was Sober (tribute to Alstorm), but I was lucky I listened to their 2hours + concert and it was amazing.
It looks like Pasadena 1994 will have to be my next one by them. :) But I'll definitely check out the other 2, because I love silly!Nanowar, I just feel that with this one, they could have done more. Thank you! I bet seeing them live is super fun!
I couldn't do anything with the song at all. All of the band's other songs are funnier and better. If there had at least been an ending like Electric Callboy's "Hurrikan", that could have saved the song.
I agree it's not their best. There's also a lot less mixing of songs in this one. It feels more like a parody cover of As Long as You Love Me, rather than an original Nanowar of Steel song based on that song. But it's ok! There are many other great NoS songs we can enjoy! :D
It's December now, so "Valhalleluja" is the song you need to hear to get into the proper Christmas spirit.
